[Excerpt from Eaglecrest Ski Area web site history page]

In the early 1950's ... Shortly after the Ski Club's tow was moved from 2nd Cabin, Al Shaw started a commercial rope-tow operation under the name of Kaw-wah-ee Ski Company, so skiers now had a choice of two rope tow areas.

Do you have further information, stories or pictures that you would like to contribute about this ski area?
