This topo map, from 1975, shows the area around Circle Hot Springs.  The estimated location of the rope tow and ski hill would be to the east (southeast) of the resort.

[Roger Evans - October 28, 2004 email excerpt] 

Circle [Hot Spring]'s [ski hill] was on the ridge just east of the springs.  I remember the clearing, and I think there was a rope tow.  Maybe even in the early 50's.
