Location: Anchorage, in the upper Rabbit Creek drainage, on the pioneer road / trail to Rabbit Lakes, just before the Chugach State Park boundary, on the slope that leads up to Ptarmigan Pass.

Miscellaneous: Not much is known about this old rope tow site.  Likely it was a rope tow set up in the homesteading days of the Anchorage Bowl (1940s possibly).  In the 1980's you could see remains of what appeared to be a rope tow.  Time has taken away much of the tow evidence.  More research is needed on this site.
